Monday, 19 September 2022 marks the the first face-to-face meeting of the transnational e-Teach project. The meeting was held successfully at VUB Campus in Etterbeek, Brussels.
This is the first transnational and in-person meeting for all the members of the e-Teach project. The partnership consists of six educational institutions: Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Baltic Education Technology Institute, University of Helsinki, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, and University of Social Sciences (SAN) Poland.
The goal of the e-Teach initiative is to convert traditional educational methods and techniques to digital educational approaches and methods. The project creates Digital Pedagogy and trains teachers and future teachers on how to utilize it in digital learning and creative teaching.
After a warm welcome and introduction for all the partners and attendents, two presentations were demonstrated by one of the key partners COMU and the coordinator VUB, as well as several issues related to e-teach project knowledge paper and curriculum for digital courses were discussed actively among partners.
The meeting ongoing in the afternoon mainly discussed the topics of intellectual output 1, the Knowledge Paper and the modular curriculum, and output 2, scenario-based digital pedagogy teacher guide and the online course. In addition, all partners also discussed project management issues and reporting templates. All partners took part in and acted with enthusiasm in the discussions during the meeting, and all ideas and thoughts were well exchanged among partners. The partners also made joint decisions regarding the follow-up actions and implementation plans of the project.
