Biography
Laura Pizzirani, PhD student, is a researcher in Educational Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit, currently pursuing her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Chang Zhu. Her educational background spans multiple fields, including a Master's degree in Educational Sciences from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), a degree in Business Management from Utah Valley University (UVU) in Utah, USA, and degrees in Pedagogy and Languages from Universidade Paulista (UNIP) in Brazil. Laura has worked internationally across Italy, Portugal, Belgium, England, the United States, Brazil, and Japan, gaining a rich, global perspective in both education and business management.
Her career highlights include participating in projects, developing MOOCs on Academic Leadership, creating a language-learning app, showcasing her interests of education, technology and academic leadership. As a former Director of EdTech/STEAM at TCG International School in Tokyo and co-founder of Spoken School in Belgium. Laura's work focuses on advancing education through leadership and technology. Passionate about educational progress, she continuously seeks opportunities to contribute to transformative learning and leadership practices.
