The EU–China Higher Education Research Center (ECHE) at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in collaboration with China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Wuhan University of Engineering Science and the LEAD Academic Network, is pleased to announce the International Symposium on “Challenges and Reshaping of College Students’ Leadership in the Digital Intelligence Era,” to be held from 24 to 26 April 2026 at China University of Geosciences (Wuhan), Hubei Province, China.
As digital intelligence technologies—including artificial intelligence, big data, and the Internet of Things—continue to transform societies and educational systems, new expectations are emerging regarding leadership development among university students. This symposium aims to explore how college students’ leadership can be re-conceptualized, cultivated, and reshaped in response to technological and societal changes.
The symposium will bring together international scholars, higher education practitioners, and experts to exchange insights, share research findings, and discuss innovative approaches to leadership education in the digital intelligence era.
