Pouratashi Mahtab
Biography
Mahtab Pouratashi is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for Research and Planning in Higher Education (IRPHE) in Iran. Her research focuses on student learning approaches, academic performance, self-efficacy, test anxiety, and psychological factors that influence achievement and motivation in higher education.
She has collaborated on multiple international research projects, including studies affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), examining learning approaches across cultural contexts and the impact of academic stress on students’ performance. Her publications address student learning behaviours, conflict resolution styles, psychological capital, and the integration of educational research into policy and planning.
Mahtab’s scholarly work contributes to a deeper understanding of student development, educational psychology, and evidence-informed higher education planning.
