Rui HU
Biography
Hu Rui holds a Doctorate in Education from Zhejiang University and completed postdoctoral research at Beijing Normal University. He is currently Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Education, Central China Normal University. Her appointments include membership of the UNESCO Chair in Entrepreneurship Education for the Asia-Pacific Region and editorial board positions for Higher Education Research and Entrepreneurship Education. Her research focuses on international and comparative education, innovation and entrepreneurship education, and educational policy and management. She has led over 20 research projects, including three National Natural Science Foundation grants, a National Social Science Key Project, and Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Fund initiatives. Her work has been published in over 70 articles in prestigious domestic and international journals such as Higher Education, SAGE Open, Comparative Education Research, and Chinese Higher Education. Multiple research findings have been reprinted in full by the Abstracts of Humanities and Social Sciences in Higher Education Institutions and Renmin University Reprint Materials. Focusing on topics such as "expanding educational openness," "international educational aid," and "education for international students in China," she has provided multiple policy advisory reports to the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce, and Chinese Academy of Engineering, among others, which have received official endorsements. The report he co-authored, "Towards Inclusive, Equitable and Quality Education for a Peaceful Nation: Guide for Developing Modern Education System in South Sudan," served as a key reference for South Sudan's educational modernisation efforts. She has published six academic monographs, including Research on Entrepreneurship Education in British Higher Education Institutions during the New Labour Government Era, and has been honoured with the Doctoral Thesis Nomination Award in Higher Education Studies and the Hubei Provincial Award for Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences.
